On the afternoon of March 2, 2023, the delegation of Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Technology Mara, Malaysia (Universiti Teknologi Mara - UiTM) visited and worked with representatives of VNU-HUS on the mutual cooperation in scientific research and student exchange.

On the afternoon of February 23, 2023, the representative of Hanyang University, Korea had a meeting with leaders, lecturers and students of VNU-HUS.

On the morning of February 23, 2023, Mr. Jinjia Xu, Regional Manager (Asia) of the University of Alberta, Canada, had a meeting with the leaders of VNU-HUS to discussed about establishing a cooperative relationship between the two universities.

On February 1, 2023, Cybermetrics Labs (under the Spanish National Research Council) announced its first edition of 2023. Accordingly, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) jumped from 758th place to 661st place globally, up 97 places compared to its rank in August 2022, maintaining its top place among the ranked Vietnamese institutions.

The 31st Vietnam Student Olympiad in Informatics (OLP’22) and the 2022 International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asia held from December 6 – 9, 2022 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, attracted about 700 students from 71 universities, colleges, and institutes nationwide.

On the morning of December 2, 2022, the working minutes on the SATREPS project "Developing high technology to manufacture quick and easy-to-use analytical instruments and enhancing human resources for food safety and environmental quality control” were signed by VNU-HUS and JICA’s survey team.

On the morning of November 28, 2022, within the framework of the project "The women's empowerment-sustainable tourism nexus in rural Vietnam" held at VNU from November 28 to December 3, 2022, a team of experts from KU Leuven University, Belgium had a visit and worked with representatives of VNU-HUS.

On November 9, 2022, a scientific seminar titled “NASA Earth Studies and the Observation Missions of International Satellite Systems” was held by VNU-HUS in co-ordination with the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the US Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam National Space Center.

On November 8, 2022, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced Asia’s regional university ranking results. Accordingly, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) was ranked 162nd, in the top of 21.3% Asia's leading higher education institutions, and 36th in Southeast Asia.

On the afternoon of November 3, 2022, on the occasion of Hungarian Science Day (November 3), a Scientific Seminar on “The scientific achievements of Hungary” was held by VNU-HUS in collaboration with the Hungarian Embassy in Hanoi at the 7th floor Hall, building T5.
