On March 18th, 2021, VNU University of Science held the announcement ceremony of the decision to appoint the Vice Principal. There was also an announcement of the appointment of new associate professors for 2020.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trần Quốc Bình is the new principal for VNU - HUS for the term of 2020 - 2025, appointed by decision No. 158 on January 22nd, 2021. VNU - HUS now has 1 Principal and 4 Vice Principal.

At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phạm Bảo Sơn, Vice Director of Vietnam National University (VNU) congratulated on the new VNU - HUS Vice Principal, expressing his expectation and confidence in him. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trần Quốc Bình along with the school board and the teaching staff promised continuous contribution for Vietnam’s science and technology future.
In 2020, VNU - HUS cadres published nearly 500 international articles (0.8 - 0.9 article form every cadre), and over 20 intellectual properties degrees attained. Approximately 50% of VNU’s international articles came from VNU - HUS cadres, signifying the importance of VNU - HUS.
Representing VNU - HUS administrative board, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Sc. Vũ Hoàng Linh gave his gratitude for VNU leading figures for having helped VNU - HUS in completing their administrative board, while also congratulating Mr. Bình on his new position.
