On 30 June 2016, VNU University of Science has collaborated with Institute for Advanced Simulation - Neurology and Institute of Medicine of the Helmholtz Association, Germany to hold the Physics - Biology – Pharmacy Workshops and Classes: "Simulation of molecular dynamics for drug design." Workshops and Classes take place in two days 30th June and 1st July 2016.

Attending the Workshops were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc – Vice President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Prof. Dr. Phan Tuan Nghia - Vice-Rector of VNU University of Science, lecturers, scientists, graduate students from Departments of Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

The Workshop is one of the activities of the Key Science Laboratory on Multistate Computation for Complex Systems. This is the key laboratory at VNU level, was established under Decision No. 1375 / QD-DHKHTN on 13th May 2016 of the President of VNU.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc and Prof. Dr. Phan Tuan Nghia awarding the decision and giving flowers to congratulate Prof. Paolo Carloni - Neurology and Institute of Medicine of the Helmholtz Association, Germany and Dr. Nguyen The Toan - Lecturer in the Department of Physics to serve as Director of the Core Science Laboratory multi-rate calculations for complex systems.

Seven main reports were presented at the workshop and classes, which give the listeners recent research achievements in the multidisciplinary field of Physics, Biology and Pharmacology. The simulation method of molecular dynamics for physical systems, biological, biomedical and its application in drug design has been introduced and updated.
