For October 23-24, Prof. Vu Hoang Linh, Rector of the University of Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Nguyen Hai, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physics, visited National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) following an invitation from Professor Edward Yi Chang, Dean of the International College of Semiconductor Technology under NYCU.

From October 31 to November 2, 2023, a team of education quality assessment experts from the ASEAN University Network (AUN) will conduct an audit of four bachelor's programs at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Specifically, the University of Sciences has its Bachelor’s Program in Nuclear Engineering Technology, under the Faculty of Physics, reviewed in this round.

On October 27, 2023, a formal meeting took place at the University of Science, VNU Hanoi, with Japanese stakeholders involved in the SATREPS international cooperation project in science and technology.

On October 26, 2023, at the VNU University of Science, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the University and the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). This signing ceremony marks the beginning of what is anticipated to be a successful collaborative partnership in the future.

On October 26, 2023, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of the THE World University Rankings 2024 by subject. THE WUR by Subjects ranks universities across 11 subject areas. Accordingly, VNU was ranked in 8 out of the 11 ranked subject areas with an increase of two subjects compared to the 2023 ranking.

On October 23, 2023, Professor Ian Rowlands, Vice-Director of the International Cooperation Office at the University of Waterloo, Canada, visited and held discussions with the leadership of the University of Science, VNU Hanoi.

At the end of October, a group of students from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Sciences will embark on a short-term exchange at Ibaraki University, Japan. This is an annual student exchange activity between the two institutions. To ensure that the students have meaningful and suitable learning and experience opportunities, representatives from Ibaraki University had a direct working session with the leaders of the University of Sciences.

As part of the 2023 Taiwanese University Education Exhibition, a delegation of Taiwanese universities visited and met with the leadership of the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU HUS) on October 13, 2023.

The University of Toulon, France, is one of the long-standing partners of the University of Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Over the years, the two universities have collaborated in training and research exchanges not only at the undergraduate level but also in postgraduate programs. Many staff and lecturers from the University of Sciences have been research students at the University of Toulon and other prestigious universities in France.
