On the morning of September 26, 2025, the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) welcomed a delegation from Yonsei University and LG Innotek, Korea. The meeting opened up strategic directions for collaboration, aiming to strengthen the connection between university education, scientific research, and the corporate demand for high-quality human resources.

The Korean delegation included Prof. Park Seung-Han, Honorary Professor of Physics and Vice Director of Yonsei University, and Mr. Jeong Junho, Head of Human Resource Development at LG Innotek. Representing VNU-HUS were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngac An Bang, Vice Rector; Dr. Le Huu Tuyen, Deputy Head in charge of the Office of Cooperation and Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mac Dinh Hung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry; and Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physics.
In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngac An Bang introduced the university's training programs, academic cooperation activities, and enterprise connection network. He affirmed that VNU-HUS continuously expands cooperation with leading Korean universities and corporations to enhance internship and employment opportunities for students, as well as to promote research linked to real-world applications. Over the years, VNU-HUS has been a trusted partner providing high-quality human resources for top corporations such as LG Display, Samsung, and many other domestic and international enterprises.
Representing Yonsei University, Prof. Park Seung-Han expressed his desire to strengthen university–industry collaboration and proposed several specific cooperation directions for the three parties, including faculty and student exchange, joint research implementation, and scientific project development.
Representatives from the Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Physics of VNU-HUS emphasized their previous experience in cooperation with LG Display and confirmed their readiness to implement internship programs, student exchanges, and research collaborations with Yonsei University and LG Innotek in the near future.
