When to Apply:
All foreign applicants for Master’s programs must take an Entrance Interview. Generally, the interview covers English and professional knowledge of the subject of your specialized field. You may attend an interview either the first Enrollment Session, in the first half of April 2015, or the second Interview Session, in the first half of September 2015 (dates subject to change). An Announcement of Enrollment is posted approximately two to three months before the exam.
We will consider students with a wide variety of international qualifications. For further questions regarding our entry requirements, please contact the department to which you are applying, or University Application Advice at: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have an English Proficiency Certificate, or if English is your native language, you do not need to take the English exam. For information on the exam in your area of specialty, consult the appropriate faculty directly.
Many subjects of master’s programs are taught in Vietnamese, therefore you may need a proficiency certificate in Vietnamese. Please contact the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language – VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities at: http://vsl.edu.vn/en/
For study in a doctoral program, a proficiency certificate in Vietnamese is not required, but an intermediate level of Vietnamese proficiency is recommended for your daily living and communication needs.
If you are applying from abroad, you must obtain a Student Visa one year or before you leave home. You will not be able to work, but we can help extend your visa to a one-year multiple-entry visa.
Visa fees are payable to the Vietnamese Embassy in the country where you receive your visa ($135 for a one-year visa),
