Due to the Covid-19pandemic, the 2021 Student Scientific Report Assessing session took place online.

21 most excellent reports from 8 faculties had been chosen to be presented in the form of posters in front of the university panel. Students got to decide between directly reporting from their spot or presenting a pre-recorded video; afterwards, they had to answer questions from the panel’s members.

Associate Professor Tran Quoc Binh, Vice-President, President of The Assessment Jury delivered his opening speech at the 2021 Students Scientific Report Assessment Session

In his opening speech at  the HUS 2021 Student Scientific Report Assessment Session, Associate Professor Tran Quoc Binh, Vice President of the university expressed his delight seeing that the researching movement of students was not affected by the Covid-19 in the previous academic year  even though many research activities required field study and experiments.

“With students’ passion for scientific research and the lecturers’ enthusiastic instruction; together with the appropriate arrangement of training and researching plans by the Board of rectors, the number of scientific works not only stayed the same but increased significantly compared to the previous years. There were in total 432 students’ scientific reports with almost 700 students participated in this activity.” (in comparison with 344 reports in 2019 - when Covid-19 had not happened) - Associate Professor Tran Quoc Binh said.

Student Nguyen Van Manh, Cohort 62 of the Faculty of Biology shared: “I am very delighted to participate in the Students’ Scientific Research. The process of conducting scientific research had given me the chance to learn new knowledge and research methods. Besides, I also had a chance to learn so much about different research approaches from lecturers".
