On the afternoon of July 11th 2013, India Delegation of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - CSIR) by Dr. Amitava Bandopadhyay - Chief Department of International Science and Technology, led to visit and work at VNU University of Science. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi - Vice - Rector and the representative of the Board of the Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Biology had greeting the Delegation.
On the afternoon of July 11th 2013, India Delegation of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - CSIR) by Dr. Amitava Bandopadhyay - Chief Department of International Science and Technology, led to visit and work at VNU University of Science. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi - Vice - Rector and the representative of the Board of the Faculty of Physics, Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Biology had greeting the Delegation.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi and representatives of CSIR were discussed, selected the similar fields that can be collaborative and making plans to cooperate between the two sides. The two sides have agreed to co-operate the first 5 fields of interest including: Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Biology and Biotechnology, Physics, Earth Science and Climate Change, Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering.
After the meeting, the Delegation visited the Physics Laboratory - Accelerator (Faculty of Physics) and visited the priority laboratory of enzymes and proteins (Faculty of Biology).

CSIR was established in 1942, is a leading organization for scientific and technology research under the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology. Manmohan Singh - Indian Prime Minister is the Chairman of the CSIR.
CISR has 37 research institutes and laboratories, with variety of researching areas as energy, aerospace, biology and biotechnology, chemistry, ecology and environment, food, pharmaceutical, construction, mining, etc. .
