On Tuesday 11th October 2016, the International symposium: “Interactions of Human, Culture and Nature Explored with University Museum Collections” was held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of VNU University of Science and Faculty of Biology, and 20th anniversary of the Kyoto University Museum, Kyoto University, Japan.
On Tuesday 11th October 2016, the International symposium: “Interactions of Human, Culture and Nature Explored with University Museum Collections” was held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of VNU University of Science and Faculty of Biology, and 20th anniversary of the Kyoto University Museum, Kyoto University, Japan. The symposium was hosted by VNU University of Science in collaboration with Kyoto University Museum, Kyoto University and VNU University of Social Science and Humanities. The symposium took place in 2 days, 11th and 12th October 2016.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rector of VNU University of Science - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi states that “VNU Biology Museum plays an important role in higher education of VNU University of Science and contributes to the training of students from different universities of Vietnam as well as foreign scientists. Until today, the mission of the University Museum and its collection is not only focused on education, research and knowledge, but also includes many activities to raise the awareness of protecting the culture, ecology and the environment".
