On January 31, 2018, Vice Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) - Assoc. Prof. Sc. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh has a meeting with the delegation from the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) led by Mr. Intae Yu - Dean of College of Science, Sungkyunkwan University.
On January 31, 2018, Vice Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) - Assoc. Prof. Sc. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh has a meeting with the delegation from the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) led by Mr. Intae Yu - Dean of College of Science, Sungkyunkwan University. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of Dr. Ngac An Bang - Dean of Faculty of Physics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Minh Duc, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hai - Head and Deputy Head of Office of International Relations & Administrations, VNU-HUS.
On the meeting, two sides have discussed more about the cooperation between two Universities. Based on the MOU had signed in the past, the SKKU would like to renew the MOU and expand the academic relationship between two Universities in the future.
On behalf of VNU-HUS, Vice Rector Vu Hoang Linh state that: “In the near future, the VNU-HUS will have more scientific activities, staff and student exchange programs, joint seminars and workshops together with the SKKU”.
Moreover, the SKKU would like to introduce the Sungkyunkwan University’s International Summer Semester (ISS) to students of VNU-HUS. ISS is a unique academic program dedicated to sharing and experiencing the fascinating story of Seoul, Korea’s 600-year-old capital. The program aims to develop student’s global engagement by providing opportunities to share different perspectives on global issues, to make friends with various cultural backgrounds, and to explore Korea’s history, culture, and people.
Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) has been a leading Korean educational institution since 1398. In modern times it has partnered with Samsung. This has enable SKKU to develop dynamic academic programs which have made it a driving force in the technological revolution. As a university with a combination of tradition and innovation, SKKU is the place to rediscover the past and set a course for the future.
