On the morining of April the 7th, 2021, HUS-VNU held a meeting to honour and reward students winning the Student Scientific Research Prize at Ministry and VNU levels and the 22nd Eureka prize 2020.

The Director of Vietnam National University (VNU), Hanoi signed decision No.62/QĐ-ĐHQGHN and decision No.63/QĐ-ĐHQGHN on the award of certificates of merits for 35 scientists with outstanding achievement in international publication and intellectual properties ownership in 2019 - 2020.

On Jan 26th 2021, the summarizing ceremony of SEA-PLASTIC-EDU project was held after 3 years of operation. This is a project that aims to enhance education and training capacity in management and recycling plastic, focusing on the quality, safety and effective use of resources with the participation of 6 universities from Austria, Germany, Denmark, Laos and Vietnam.

The recent three-year evaluation on international scientific publication revealed that the strong research group on “Chelation and Inorganic Biochemistry” led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hùng Huy was once again recognized as the strong research group of VNU-HUS in next few years.

The Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics - Mechanics - Informatics, VNU University of Science, recently held a handover ceremony of the product from the project "Automatic image zoning by machine learning" to Med-Aid Company (USA). This is a technology and knowledge transfer project between a Vietnamese university and a foreign enterprise.
