A meeting was held on the morning of May 13, 2022 where VNU-HUS and representatives of Bosch Vietnam (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam, BGSV) discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of information technology and embedded systems.
Attending the meeting, on behalf of Bosch Vietnam, there was Mr. Dattatreya Gaur, Managing Director, Mr. Sathyanarayana TK, Head of Technical Department and Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Hang, Human Resource Manager. On behalf of VNU-HUS, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngac An Bang - Vice Rector, and staff of the Department for Cooperation and Development, Department for Politics and Student Affairs, Center for Information Technology and Communication, the Faculty of Mathematics - Mechanics - Informatics and the Faculty of Physics.
At the beginning of the meeting, a representative of Bosch Vietnam presented an overview of the formation and development of Bosch, the areas that it is focusing on at the present and in the near future. Next, Dr. Do Thanh Ha, Vice Dean of Faculty of Mathematics - Mechanical - Informatics, introduced the main lines in research and training of Basic and Applied Mathematics that are being implemented at the Faculty, followed by Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Toan, Dean of Faculty of Physics with his introduction of main lines in research and training of physics and its applications in daily life.
In order to have a multi-dimensional and realistic view, the delegation from Bosch Vietnam was invited to visit VNU-HUS’ facilities and introduced about the laboratories at the Faculty of Physics.
Both Information Technology and Embedded Systems are indeed interdisciplinary which are based mainly on mathematics, informatics and physics; Therefore, the meeting between VNU-HUS and Bosch Vietnam marked an important first step towards more extensive cooperation in the future.
