On April 18, 2022, within the framework of Erasmus+ KA107 student and staff exchange program, VNU-HUS had a meeting with Ms. Sandra De Mari's Pablo, International Relations Specialist, representative of the Valencia Catholic University (UCV), Spain.

Attending the meeting were Assoc.Prof.Dr.Scs. Vu Hoang Linh, Rector of the University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngac An Bang - Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Son, Vice Rector, and heads of the Department for Cooperation and Development, Department for Science and Technology, Department for Academic Affairs and representatives of various faculties.

The meeting was an opportunity for representatives of two sides to discuss cooperation opportunities in the future, especially in the fields of training, scientific research, student-staff exchange programs and summer programs.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vu Hoang Linh, Rector, on behalf of VNU-HUS welcomed Ms. Sandra De Mari's Pablo’s visit. This was the first visit by international partners after nearly two years being interrupted by the COVID-19 epidemic. Assoc.Prof.Dr.Sc. Vu Hoang Linh urged the two sides to promote the exchange of staff and students under the MOU signed within the framework of the Erasmus+ program as well as continue to exchange experiences in governance and internationalization.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngac An Bang, Vice Rector, spoke highly of UCV’s external activities and their expansion of network of partners. He would like to be able to exchange and learn from UCV's experiences in this field.

On behalf of the Faculty of Meteorology, Hydrology and Oceanography, Dr. Nguyen Dac Da were interested in UCV's dual degree programs, scholarship policy for students and opportunities to cooperate with UCV in opening a program on Oceanography.

As the coordinator of the Erasmus program at VNU-HUS, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vu Van Manh hoped that opportunities for exchanging students would be further promoted, not only at undergraduate level but also at graduate levels.

According to Ms. Sandra De Mari's Pablo, UCV follows a student-centered approach, always encouraging and creating opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities and exchange programs at partner universities home and abroad. As for international students specifically, UCV always takes the time to help them get acquainted to the new environment as well as improve their foreign language skills, thereby helping them to quickly adapt to the new environment, preventing culture shock as well as ensuring the best learning ability.
