On Thursday afternoon 22 March 2016, the Rector Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi had a meetting with the EU Ambassador Bruno Angelet - Head of European Union Delegation to Vietnam. Along with Deputy Ambassador Prof. Dr. Phan Tuan Nghia Rector, Dr. Do Minh Duc - Head of Administration and External Relations representative Executive Board Mathematics-Informatics Engineering.
At the meeting, Rector Nguyen Van Noi expressed his thanks to Mr. Bruno Angelet visited the VNU University of Science. The VNU University of Science always appreciate the friendly relations and cooperation with the European Union, especially in the field of education. The school has been working on training and scientific research with a number of universities and research institutes from European countries such as France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark and so on.
Ambassador Bruno Angelet said, with personal capacity, he is willing to do a bridge between the VNU University of Science and European partners. The Ambassador stressed that the EU to Vietnam wants in collaboration with the VNU University of Science to organize events in the field of education in Vietnam as a conference for alumni have studied in Europe; educational workshops to introduce scholarships at universities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, ... will be held in 2016. In particular, the EU in Vietnam wishes to be consulted by the scientists, experts from the VNU University of Science in implementing projects are financed by EU investors in Vietnam.
At the invitation of the Rector Nguyen Van Noi, Mr. Bruno Angelet will attend the international conference on Climate Change will be held at the University of Science in April 2016.
