The BioEcoN project, funded by European Union from 2017 (http://bioecon.eu/), is one of several Erasmus+ projects running by VNU University of Science as national coordinator in Vietnam.

Partners of the project together collaborate, contribute experiences, academics, methods and skills, through the design and development of a joined postgraduate training program including 18 courses in Bio-economy, Forestry and Sustainable Development, along with a LMS that can be used for face-to-face, online or blended teaching. The results of teaching and learning as well as the number of credits accumulated by students will be recognized by partner universities of the project.

This project also creates opportunities for lecturers to exchange experiences in developing teaching materials following European standards, and for students to have access to a multicultural international learning environment.

On the other hand, lectures and students of the VNU University of Sciences are continuing to exchange and study with partner universities of the Erasmus+ BioEcoN project such as the Erasmus+ ICM program for staff and students with the University of Valladolid, Spain (https://uvamobplus.uva.es/); DAAD-HAW TranSEA academic exchange program for graduate students at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Germany (https://hnee.de/transea).

Furthermore, students will receive opportunities to be enrolled in double-degree programs between VNU University of Science and partner universities such as Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Master's degree in Forest Management based on Data Science at University of Valladolid, Spain (https://bit.ly/2TdShnS); Bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Finland (www.xamk.fi/exchange); Master's degree in Forestry Information and Technology (https://bit.ly/3drTJcV), Master's degree in Forestry Systems Transformation (https://bit.ly/3h5pDhP) and Master's degree in Climate Change Management (https://bit.ly/2Ti24sT) at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Germany.
