On the 4th December 2018, VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) welcomed a delegation from the KU Leuven University, Belgium. The delegation was led by Mr. Paul Van Dun, the Director of Research and Development and Technology Transfer Center at the KU Leuven University.

On December 6, 2018, VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) welcomed a delegation from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) led by Prof. Dr. Tetsuo Asano, the President of JAIST.

On Tuesday, 19/06/2018, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi - Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) had a meeting with the delegation from University of Lille led by Pr. François-Olivier Seys - Vice-president in charge of International Relations.

On 17/4/2018, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi - Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) had a meeting with the representative of the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam - Ms Katja Majborn Goodhew, in charge of Food Safety and Green Growth program.

On April 9, 2018, Vice Rector - Assoc. Prof. Sc. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh had a meeting with representatives of Feng Chia University, Taiwan led by Prof. Wen-Yen Hsu - Dean, College of Finance.

On Thursday, 1st March, 2018, the Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) - Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi had a meeting with the delegation from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia led by Dr. Markus Wächter - Managing Director of TUM Asia.

On January 31, 2018, Vice Rector of VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) - Assoc. Prof. Sc. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh has a meeting with the delegation from the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) led by Mr. Intae Yu - Dean of College of Science, Sungkyunkwan University.

The DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi will be organizing a Network-Meeting on Friday, December 8th 2017 at the Vietnamese German Centre - Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) for Vietnamese and German higher education representatives, looking for university cooperation between these two countries.

On 23rd November 2017, the VNU University of Science launched the project “Adoption and full-control of dynamical seasonal tropical cyclone prediction system for ensuring safety of socio-economic activities over the East Sea - Vietnam” at the Trade Hotel, Hanoi. Prof. Dr. Phan Van Tan - Project Leader chaired the workshop.
