On October 9, VNU University of Science held the Geographic Information System (GIS) 2015 Conference on “GIS for Sustainable Development and Integration” in Hanoi.

Vietnamese, German universities launch the 6th Summer School “GIS for Sustainable Development and Integration”

On March 30, 2015, the Annual key staff meeting on quality assurance of the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA) was opened at VNU.

The Ministry of Science and Technology has recently announced the top 20 Vietnam’s organizations with the most international publications in the 2010-2014 period.

On June 10, 2015, QS University Rankings published the QS University Rankings 2015 results including QS World University Rankings, QS University Rankings: Asia, QS University Rankings: Latin America, QS University Rankings: Arab Region, QS University rankings: BRICS. In addition, QS published its University Rankings by Subject – the QS Top 50 Under 50 to rank the world’s top 50 universities established within the last 50 years.

Implementing the cooperative plan between VNU and AEON Environmental Foundation (Japan), VNU hosted the 2015 Asian Students Environmental Platform taking place from August 3, 2015 to August 9, 2015 under the theme of “Biodiversity and Man”.

On October 7th, 2014, Posco T.J.Park Foundation presented 15 scholarships to excellent VNU students with a value of 500 USD each.
