The signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Dao Minh Quang Foundation and the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) was held on 27/11/2017.

On 23rd November 2017, the VNU University of Science launched the project “Adoption and full-control of dynamical seasonal tropical cyclone prediction system for ensuring safety of socio-economic activities over the East Sea - Vietnam” at the Trade Hotel, Hanoi. Prof. Dr. Phan Van Tan - Project Leader chaired the workshop.

On 21 November 2017, Vietnam National University Hanoi solemnly held the Opening Ceremony the 95th AUN-QA assessment at programme level for 3 programme of bachelor in Physical Geography ( Faculty of Geography, VNU-HUS), Meteorology (Faculty of Hydrology, Meteorology and Oceanography, VNU-HUS), Literature (Faculty of Literature, VNU-USSH) amd 01 Master progamme in Human Rights Law (VNU School of Law).

In the air of celebrating Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20, 2017, the VNU University of Science received a confirm letter from the Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network (AUN) announces that the VNU-HUS officially has fulfilled the requirements for AUN-QA Institutional Assessment.

On November 15, 2017, the alumni of business leaders had a visit the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) to give scholarships and dialogues with students. The representatives are Mr. Cao Tien Dung (K41 Faculty of Biology) - General Director of Biomedical Materials JSC;

On 15 November 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi – Rector of the VNU University of Science had a meeting with Prof. Young Moo Lee - President of Hangyang University (Korea) for signing the MOU between two universities.

The dialogue between University’s leaders and students of the regular school year 2017-2018 took place on November 9, 2017, attracting more than 300 students as the class president, the secretary of the college and the representative students attended.

On 13 November 2017, Vice Rector - Prof. Dr. Phan Tuan Nghia had a meeting with delegation from National Dong Hwa University led by Prof. Yuan Ron Ma - Associate Dean Office of International Affairs, Head Department of Physics and Mr. Kevin Yang - President & CEO of AdNaNotek Corporation.

On Thursday, November 02, 2017, the signing ceremony between the VNU University of Science (HUS) and the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (NMHS) was held at the main campus of VNU-HUS under the witness of the governing board, heads of administration offices, members and staff from both of two sides.

On October 24th, 2017, Prof. John Birge - Professor of the Booth School of Business (University of Chicago, USA), Mr. Dann Engels - President of the Orchid Foundation (USA) and Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan - UN Communications Manager spent a visit to the VNU University of Science.
