The University of Sciences, formerly known as Hanoi University, has a nearly 70-year history of development and growth. Since its establishment in 1956, the school has consistently upheld its role as a leading center for fundamental training and scientific research in the country.
With the mission “to train high-quality human resources, nurture talents, conduct innovative research and transfer knowledge in science and technology, contributing to the construction, development, and protection of the nation,” the university has continuously strived to innovate education, diversify training programs, invest in scientific research and creative innovation, and discover, train, and nurture talents for the country.

The university maintains partnerships with over 70 reputable educational, political, and social organizations across 35 countries and territories worldwide, offering students numerous opportunities for studying, exchanging, and international cooperation. The institution also welcomes partners, scholars, and international students to collaborate and exchange ideas.
