The VNU University of Science (VNU–HUS) has received an invitation from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University (PKU-MSE) to nominate candidates for the M-Talents Summer School 2025. The program is designed to offer students from around the world an opportunity to experience the academic and research environment at PKU-MSE, as well as life in Beijing and Chinese culture. Key details are as follows:

Program Title: M-Talents Summer School 2025

Dates: July 7–16, 2025

Host Institution: School of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University (Beijing Campus)

Main Activities:

- Lectures on advanced materials;

- Laboratory visits at PKU-MSE;

- Visits and exchanges with affiliated research institutes;

- Company visits in the local area;

- Language experiences, sightseeing, and cultural exchange activities.

Eligibility:

- Undergraduate students, master's students, and PhD candidates from VNU–HUS with interest in materials science and engineering;

- GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale);

- Good English communication skills (English certificate of B2 or higher or HSK level 4 preferred);

- Intention to pursue Master's or PhD studies at PKU-MSE.

Number of Participants: 20 students

Program Fee:

- 700 CNY (~2,500,000 VND), payable directly to PKU-MSE during the program.

Application Process:

1.Screening and nomination of candidates based on applications;

2.Second-round selection in coordination with the host university;

3.Announcement of selected participants by the host;

4.Participants submit a participation fee of 1,000,000 VND to VNU–HUS;

5.Orientation and logistical coordination for the program;

6.After the program, participants are required to submit:

7.A report (800–1000 words in English);

- A set of photos documenting their experience.
