The VNU University of Science, in collaboration with the University of Ulsan (South Korea), is pleased to announce the Student Exchange Program. This program is designed to provide PhD candidates, graduate students, undergraduate students, and high school students from the University with the opportunity to access and experience an international academic and research environment. The program aims to enhance participants' global integration capabilities, build self-confidence, and develop adaptability in international settings.

Program Details:

Eligibility:

  • Graduate students and PhD candidates of the University

  • Undergraduate students of the University with a cumulative GPA above 2.8

  • Students from the High School for Gifted Students in Sciences

Language Requirement:

  • Applicants should possess basic English communication skills

  • Priority given to applicants with international English certificates

Participation Cost:

  • Total cost: 23,500,000 VND per participant
    (includes participation fee, airfare, insurance, meals, transportation, etc.)

Number of Participants: 20

  • Curriculum Vitae (in English)

  • Academic transcript (printed from VNU's academic management system)

  • Supporting documents (if available), e.g., English certificates, awards, etc.

Implementation Process:

  • Based on collected applications, the University will compile a list of selected candidates according to registration order, the relevance of the applicant to the program's goals, and the strengths of their application dossier;

  • The University will notify selected candidates;

  • Selected candidates must pay the program participation fee and prepare the remaining travel cost:

    • Participation fee: 1,000,000 VND per candidate, to be paid to the University of Science;

    • Remaining cost: 22,500,000 VND per candidate (for airfare, insurance, transportation, and meals);

  • The Office of Cooperation and Development will provide training for selected candidates and coordinate with the partner university to organize the trip.
