On the morning of September 26, 2025, the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) welcomed a delegation from Yonsei University and LG Innotek, Korea. The meeting opened up strategic directions for collaboration, aiming to strengthen the connection between university education, scientific research, and the corporate demand for high-quality human resources.

From September 16–19, 2025, the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) and Ibaraki University jointly organized the HUS–Ibaraki Summer School 2025 in Hanoi for students from Ibaraki University, Japan. This is an annual activity that has been maintained for many years, contributing to the promotion of cultural and academic exchange between students of the two universities. In the near future, Ibaraki University will host a delegation of HUS students for the Summer School in Ibaraki.

On September 12, 2025, the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) welcomed a delegation from the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). The meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening international cooperation and opened up promising opportunities for high-quality human resource training, scientific research, and the development of a professional network in the fields of energy and environment.

On the afternoon of September 10, 2025, at the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS), Professor Will Schilders, President of the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) and lecturer at Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands), delivered a public lecture titled “Mathematics: A Catalyst for Prosperity and Sustainable Innovation.” The event attracted a large audience of faculty members, university students, and high school students interested in the role of mathematics in today’s socio-economic life.

From August 3 to 17, 2025, a delegation of faculty members and students from the Faculty of Environment, VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS), took part in the Young AgroEcoVisionary 2025 competition held in Bali, Indonesia.

Following the success of the 2024 Summer School, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan (China), has once again invited a delegation of 20 students from the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-HUS) to participate in the 2025 edition of the program. Accompanying and mentoring the delegation is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Sy Duc, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, who also plays a key role in promoting academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

On July 8, 2025, the Opening Ceremony of the 456th AUN-QA Programme Assessment was held at the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU). The assessment aims to evaluate four undergraduate programs, including: Computer and Information Science, Materials Science, Meteorology and Climatology, and Land Management.

On the morning of June 26, 2025, the VNU University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, hosted a delegation from Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Taiwan (China), led by Director Prof. Tzu-Hsiang Ko. The visit aimed to promote the establishment of a cooperative relationship between the two higher education institutions, opening up prospects for developing exchange programs, training, and scientific research collaboration in the near future.

On June 23, 2025, Prof. habil. Vu Hoang Linh, Chairman of the University Council of VNU University of Science – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), signed the resolutions on the reappointment of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngac An Bang and the appointment of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Manh Cuong as Vice Rectors of the University for the 2025–2030 term.

In the context of digital transformation and innovation becoming national development pillars, on June 10, 2025, the VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with EnCity Urban Solution. This marks a new chapter in academia-industry collaboration, contributing to the realization of the objectives set out in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
